Consulting offer
Transformation Architecture Advisor
Give leadership and delivery teams continuing access to independent senior MarTech architecture judgment without creating a full-time role or adding another implementation vendor.
- Duration
- Three-month minimum
- Commercial unit
- Monthly advisory mandate
- Commercial model
- Monthly mandate confirmed after scope
When it is useful
- A transformation programme is active and recurring architecture decisions need senior challenge.
- Leadership needs an independent view across internal teams, vendors and integrators.
- A target architecture exists but implementation choices are drifting from it.
- The organisation has a temporary senior capability gap.
- Platform, data, AI or operating-model decisions need continuity across several months.
What it resolves
A bounded mandate gives sponsors and delivery teams recurring architecture review, independent challenge and decision continuity without transferring client accountability.
Fit and non-fit
Good fit
- There is a named executive sponsor and operational counterpart.
- A live roadmap, programme or decision agenda exists.
- Enterprise Martech can access the relevant forums, artefacts and decision owners.
- The client accepts a bounded advisory mandate rather than an interim executive or delivery-management role.
Not a fit
- Full-time embedded leadership or line management.
- Programme management, delivery ownership or implementation staffing.
- Unlimited on-demand support or emergency response.
- Approval authority that belongs to client governance.
- Vendor resale, procurement representation or formal independent assurance certification.
Inputs, evidence and participants
- Named sponsor and day-to-day counterpart.
- Current programme roadmap, architecture baseline and decision calendar.
- Access to agreed governance and vendor forums.
- Artefacts supplied with reasonable review lead time.
- A monthly prioritisation decision when demand exceeds available capacity.
How it works
- 01
Prioritise
Agree the priority decisions, forums and reviews at the start of each month.
- 02
Advise
Use reserved capacity for architecture review, vendor challenge, delivery assurance and executive advice.
- 03
Record
Maintain a concise decision, risk and action record.
- 04
Rebalance
Reprioritise with the sponsor when new demand exceeds the agreed mandate.
- 05
Review
Review value, demand and continuation before the end of the initial term.
Outputs and handover
- Monthly priority and decision agenda.
- Architecture and artefact reviews within agreed capacity.
- Independent challenge of vendor and delivery recommendations.
- Decision, risk and action record.
- Executive advice and escalation framing.
- Monthly summary of decisions, concerns and recommended next actions.
Commercial terms and boundaries
- Available as a two-day or four-day monthly mandate.
- The fee is confirmed in writing after the decision load, required forums, access and agreed delivery model are understood.
- Three-month minimum, billed monthly in advance.
- The advisor acknowledges bounded questions within two business days; this is not a promise to resolve complex work in that period.
- Reserved capacity does not roll over unless Enterprise Martech caused the missed availability.
- The standard mandate is designed for remote delivery. Recurring hybrid or on-site participation is separately scoped in the mandate.
- Approved travel and accommodation expenses for agreed on-site delivery are charged separately at cost.
Client responsibilities
- Maintain a clear decision agenda and supply artefacts with agreed review lead time.
- Reprioritise demand with the sponsor when it exceeds the mandate.
Exclusions
- Specialist subcontractors, workshops and substantial new deliverables are separate.
Typical application
Illustrative, not a client case
A live transformation programme needs recurring senior challenge across internal teams and delivery partners while client governance retains decision authority.
Questions buyers ask
Is Enterprise Martech independent of vendors?
Yes. Platform experience informs the advice, but the engagement does not assume a reseller or implementation-partner relationship unless one is explicitly disclosed.
Does Enterprise Martech implement the recommendation?
The standard offers provide advisory, architecture, readiness and assurance. Implementation may be completed by client teams or delivery partners. Any additional Enterprise Martech role must be separately scoped.
Can you work with our system integrator?
Yes. The role may include architecture alignment, vendor challenge and delivery assurance, provided responsibilities and conflicts are explicit.
Can the scope change after commencement?
Material changes to the decision, stakeholder group, evidence boundary, modules or deliverables require written change control.
Do you guarantee a particular outcome?
No. Enterprise Martech provides independent professional judgment based on the agreed evidence and access. Business, programme and technology outcomes remain dependent on client decisions and execution.
Are engagements delivered remotely or on site?
Engagements are designed for effective remote delivery. Where in-person participation materially improves alignment or decision quality, on-site delivery can be included in the agreed scope.
How is the professional fee determined?
The Decision Sprint has a published fixed fee. Architecture and advisory fees are confirmed after the decision boundary, required modules, stakeholder group, evidence condition, decision load and delivery model are understood.
How are travel and accommodation handled?
The professional fee reflects the agreed delivery model, including any reserved on-site capacity. Approved travel and accommodation expenses are charged separately at cost.
What happens if delivery locations or on-site dates change?
Changes to agreed locations or on-site dates may require revised fees and timing. Any material change is agreed in writing before the affected work proceeds.
Why is a fixed proposal required for larger engagements?
A written proposal makes the decision boundary, evidence, participants, outputs, delivery model, responsibilities and commercial assumptions explicit before capacity is committed.
